How much has the economy effected your online income?

We started talking on the economy and how much it has changed the way and our level of income from online. We noticed that for the most part it has changed very little for us but in some streams of income online we have found it to be much harder to make money. While in other streams of online income it is much better.
So which is it for you? Has the economy change your monthly income in a positive way or negative?
Is Web Hosting Important?

A good web hosting service can either make you or break you in making money online. This makes it even more important when you start looking for a hosting account to host all your domain names and websites which will be the corner stone of your empire online. So you need to look at the ratings for each hosting account and compare them side by side, not only for price but for the details of what they offer with their service.
I use a hosting account which offers support for Linux hosting and Wordpress hosting since I build a lot of websites needing one or both of them. While price is always important I also look at other factors which will make picking a higher priced hosting service cheaper in the long run or make your life less of a hassle when you are dealing with multiple domain names and hosting accounts.
It is highly important that you look at all your needs in the here and now plus the needs you will have for future goals which can cause the hosting provider you use to come up short. I have always looked past which one might be cheaper per month to what will also be less hassle and work to use. This way I might end up paying more for a hosting account compared to other hosting providers but it is also saving me so much time that in building and maintaining the website I am saving money.
Ghost Ship at Morey’s Piers

I have been to a lot of attractions like this before and this is the first one I have seen dedicated to a ghost ship and horror. To be honest, sounds like a lot of fun! I love ghosts and horror. They are two of my favorite topics outside of work. I wish I had one closer I would have already been there, now I have to find reason to go to New Jersey or New York.
Yes, I know I normally blog about making money and investing but you remember the rule, “All work and no play…”.
Locking Mailbox

If you are like me you have all kinds of stuff come in the mail. Credit Cards, Atm Cards, account statements, and other vital information which can easily lead to identity theft if it falls into the wrong hands. Locking mailboxes are one line of defense against identity theft, a small cost can save you hundreds if not thousands. Resolving identity theft can take months if not years away from you. So why not invest in lockable mailboxes?
People often say it is a cost they can do without, but I ask is it a risk you can live with? I have known a few people get their identities stolen and they are still trying to get it all fixed even years after the fact. They now have a locking mailbox, online account statements, and other secure measures which prevent theft. Investing and making money is great but you also have to know how to keep it, protect it, and prevent it from getting stolen or all your efforts in money making has gone to waste.
Pay yourself first?
Posted by: | CommentsOne of the things I have learned about making money is the statement, “pay yourself first”. What does it mean? It means reward yourself for your hardwork. Even if it is something small like just going out for a nice dinner.
I rewarded myself yesterday with a new computer. I made four figures yesterday for some work so before i paid anyone else I paid myself first. Why should you pay yourself first? Because when you work for yourself you need to see results away from work, away from just getting the bills paid. If you always pay every one else first you will soon find yourself never getting to enjoy your hard work even a little bit. This leads to depression and a “I don’t Care” attitude which in the long run will lower your happiness at what you do and make the work seem not any better than a 9-5 job working as someone’s slave.
So remember pay yourself first. Then pay everyone else.

Posted by: | CommentsYou know, people often wonder why all my hobbies, thoughts, and life is about making money. Most people seem to think I need a hobbie inwhich to spend money on and take up my time.
Some have said I’m obessed with making money.
Actually, I’m not very materialistic. I just don’t have the desire to go out and buy things just because some advertisment tells me I can’t life without it.
You really don’t need a lot of the stuff on the market to be happy. Happiness isn’t about how much stuff you own or having the latest stuff on the market. Happiness is being able to do what you want in life.
So I ask, are you happy? I am. I enjoy making money, I enjoy exploring ways to make money. I just don’t feel I need all this crap they sell in the stores these days.
If you take a look at society you find that everyone is actually obsessed with money or the lack of it. People are in debit up to their eyeballs, they spend more than they earn, they spend money on shit they don’t need, and they have to have the new car, big house, and latest everything.
People go to work everyday, sometimes taking hours to get there, just for money. They put up with discrimination, abuse, being underpaid, overworked, lied to, screwed over, and whatever else their employer can get away with just to make the bottom line look good.
People put up with a lot of shit to make that weekly paycheck which goes to feed the addiction they have of spending money. Is it worth it? Is it worth the stress, health problems, and debt?

The foreign markets are always moving right along with the exchange rates. Markets and exchange rates moving means you can make money fairly quick.
I have been doing forex for a while now, while it can be hard to keep up with it can make a lot of money. There are several automated ways of doing forex, not sure how they work exactly. I’m going to be trying them out though.

10 Tips to Start Optimizing Your Website – “Made to Stick”

If the headline doesn’t bring them to read the post then you will probably lose them. That is why you must make your headlines “Sticking”, it keeps your reader there to finish the article.
When writing headlines I have always found that you should keep it simple while in short explaining the subject of the article to keep the reader interested. What does this really mean? Keep words short, to the point, and at a level an 6th grader can read and understand. I’m not saying your readers can only read to a 6th grade level, just don’t make them have to think as much.
Lets look at two headlines.
“Learn how to use online media tools to help you create a second source of income!”
“Make money now by blogging!”
Which headline reads simple and short with a quick understanding? The top one is very correct but makes the reader have to think too much before they act. It also doesn’t stick with you for long due to the complex nature of the sentence.
The second one is short, easy to remember and quick to understand. This will stick with more people than the first.
Making headlines “stick” takes time and effort on your part. Test out headlines with co-workers and friends, see what they think. Experience is the only real way to get the hang of writing a good headline.

You have to ask for a sale, all good salesman know this basic piece of knowledge. Your website is no different, you have to call upon your visitors to not just visit and leave but visit then act.
Being persuasive is a key goal to getting your traffic to act. Visitors have seen the overused buttons like “Click Here”, “Submit”, and “Read More”. so many times they tend to ignore them just out of habit. Call it a sensory overload, it is similar to when you walk into a room and smell something new. The longer you stay in that room the less you smell the scent, your nose is so overloaded with the same scent it shuts down telling you it still smells it. Your brain is the same way, once you have seen the same thing over and over your brain tends to start ignoring it.
You need to find ways to trigger the visitors brain to act and not go into sensory overload by offering the same old phrases. Instead of using “Click Here” try something a bit more persuasive like “See how to change your life forever” or “See how your income can be doubled in one month”. You have to get the visitor’s brain out of the surfing daze of the net into a mode to take act on what they read.

People navigate the web by “scent.”
Scent is described as a parallel between human’s information-gathering techniques on the web and animal’s food-gathering techniques in the wild.
People seek information through the “scent” given off by their trigger words. According to research, when a visitor found the trigger word on the landing page, they were successful at completing their task 80% of the time; if the trigger word wasn’t on the page, they were only successful 10% of the time. The scent of the key words kept them on the right path; lacking that scent, they stopped searching that particular “path.” Then you have lost the visitor and they will wonder off to another website following a new scent.
This means your visitors are on a mission, they are goal oriented, and if they don’t see the trigger words they came to the site with, they are likely to move on to a site that has the right scent. The solution is not that difficult. If a visitor arrives at a landing page having used a term like “Buy Wildlife Photos”, they must see “Buy Wildlife Photos” on the page.
Now Take Action
Make sure you have your visitors’ triggers words are visible, even use the scent for copy on each major button or link:
For example, instead of using a button that says “Click Here”, use a button that says “Buy Wildlife Photos”. The scent will lead them to where you want them.
