Pay yourself first?
Posted by: | CommentsOne of the things I have learned about making money is the statement, “pay yourself first”. What does it mean? It means reward yourself for your hardwork. Even if it is something small like just going out for a nice dinner.
I rewarded myself yesterday with a new computer. I made four figures yesterday for some work so before i paid anyone else I paid myself first. Why should you pay yourself first? Because when you work for yourself you need to see results away from work, away from just getting the bills paid. If you always pay every one else first you will soon find yourself never getting to enjoy your hard work even a little bit. This leads to depression and a “I don’t Care” attitude which in the long run will lower your happiness at what you do and make the work seem not any better than a 9-5 job working as someone’s slave.
So remember pay yourself first. Then pay everyone else.
It is all about the money girls!
Posted by: | CommentsYou know, people often wonder why all my hobbies, thoughts, and life is about making money. Most people seem to think I need a hobbie inwhich to spend money on and take up my time.
Some have said I’m obessed with making money.
Actually, I’m not very materialistic. I just don’t have the desire to go out and buy things just because some advertisment tells me I can’t life without it.
You really don’t need a lot of the stuff on the market to be happy. Happiness isn’t about how much stuff you own or having the latest stuff on the market. Happiness is being able to do what you want in life.
So I ask, are you happy? I am. I enjoy making money, I enjoy exploring ways to make money. I just don’t feel I need all this crap they sell in the stores these days.
If you take a look at society you find that everyone is actually obsessed with money or the lack of it. People are in debit up to their eyeballs, they spend more than they earn, they spend money on shit they don’t need, and they have to have the new car, big house, and latest everything.
People go to work everyday, sometimes taking hours to get there, just for money. They put up with discrimination, abuse, being underpaid, overworked, lied to, screwed over, and whatever else their employer can get away with just to make the bottom line look good.
People put up with a lot of shit to make that weekly paycheck which goes to feed the addiction they have of spending money. Is it worth it? Is it worth the stress, health problems, and debt?

Free File Hosting
Missupload.com offers free file hosting, plus you can earn money when people download your files. It is a great way to share files with friends. Plus you can make money at the same time! Can you turn down free money just for people downloading a file you have? In this economy ever little bits helps, so I don’t turn down free money.
I have been playing with the service and it is fast. The files I have transfered so far have been uploaded and downloaded fast. There are a few limits on file size but subscribe to the premium service will take care of that. All file formats can be uploaded also.
The premium service is fairly cheap for this kind of hosting, plus you can make the cost back when you earn money from people downloading your files. So the more you upload and host the faster the service goes from paying for it to you getting paid. You can’t beat that these days.
The service has been great! I have had quick and good response from the service at missupload.com, they appear to be on top of all issues and are great with helping. After all that you still make money when people download your files, can’t you beat that.

Blow
Posted by: | CommentsOk, I just got done watching the movie, “Blow”. An interesting movie, while people see many things in movies, this movie made me think a lot.
While yes, it was about a drug dealer. It was also about a lot more, you have to read between the lines. Maybe you just have to look at it and compare it to your life and what you really want in life.
It shows there are more important things in life besides money. The search for money never ends in the world we live in today. The more money you find the more you want. In one scene of the movie they had boxes of cash stacked everywhere in the house. So much money they couldn’t find everywhere to put it. Even with so much money they still wanted more.
Comparing that to people now in the job market. People work for money. People move up on the ladder for money. People brown nose, stab each other in the back, lie, steal and cheat for money. It is all about how you can get more money.
How much is enough money?
Even with all the money the main character “George” ends up with in the movie, happiness still fails him. He loses a girlfriend to cancer, a wife because he lost all the money, and a daughter in search for more money. Adding to all that his mother disowns him, and his father while disappointed in him still loves his son so much he can never disown him.
In the final chapter in George’s life, he last run of drugs turns out to be nothing but a setup. His friends set him up to escape prison themselves. He gets 60 years in prison. In all in the people he could blame he blames no one. The only thing he is really broken over is his daughter and the things he did to ruin the relationship he has with her.
Why does this movie have me writing this post? It makes me think about all the money hungry people out there in the work force. They will risk everything, the loss of family, friends, and themselves just for the money. Money regardless how much they make or have consumes them. While they aren’t smuggling drugs, they are still willing to do illegal activities for the money.
Once you reach the top in a corporation, there is no place higher to go. Just like being a drug lord. When you get to the top, your happiness fails. You still want to make more money. You need more excitement. So you fall into deeper illegal activities to get what you want. You keep going, always pushing for more until one day, you lose it all.
That is what happened to George, that is what happens to everyone that reaches the top and can’t learn to be happy with what they have.
So I ask again, How much money is enough?
