Every little boy pretends to be one and even dreams of being one when they grow up, however, most men do not give it a second thought when picking an occupation. Honestly, I didn’t either to begin with. You see, like most people, I chose to shelve my dreams in exchange for money. Until the economy went belly up, it seemed that my pursuit of the all mighty dollar was working. Little did I know that my position as a bank president wasn’t meant to last. After multiple loans failed, the corporate office was forced to restructure the company and my branch fell victim to the cuts. Left unemployed, I had plenty of time to figure out what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. After much deliberation, my inner kid prevailed. Now living in Wyoming and working as a cowboy on an active ranch, I couldn’t imagine going back to my old life. However, I will admit that I did bring one creature comfort with me, satellite tv. Too bad I didn’t trust my 5 year old self earlier. Giddy up.
